Privacy Policy

Coach beta and cloud practice

Coach uses Supabase to verify your email and Cloudflare D1 to store your profile, language, reporting timezone, cloud-storage acceptance date, session settings, duration, cycles, optional notes, and optional self-assessments. Practice is not recorded or listened to. No payment is collected during the beta.

Member sessions and pending uploads are stored separately from guest history on your device. Pending uploads retry with the same signed-in membership. Coach pages and personal API responses are not cached by the service worker. Signing out hides member data but retains device records for later sign-in; clear site data on a shared device.

Delete individual cloud sessions in the journal or delete your Coach data in Account. Minimal session identifiers and deletion timestamps are retained while the Coach account exists to prevent stale uploads from restoring deleted sessions. Deleting Coach data removes the profile and cloud sessions plus Coach records on the current device; copies on other devices can be removed through browser site-data settings. Supabase email identity and waitlist consent are separate; contact the owner for their deletion. Unsubscribing from updates does not remove existing beta access.

With analytics consent, aggregate activation, import, suggestion, and review events may be sent to Google Analytics. Emails, notes, tokens, self-assessment text, and session identifiers are excluded.

Information stored on your device

PocketGap saves your practice settings, accessibility and language preferences, and session history in your browser using local storage, a first-party language cookie, and IndexedDB. Session history may include the date and time, duration, completed cycles, tempo, time signature, sound and silent bar counts, and subdivision.

Guest practice data stays on your device. If you activate Coach and accept cloud storage, new member sessions sync to your private Coach journal; guest history uploads only when you explicitly import it. You can remove session history from History or Settings and remove all locally stored data through your browser settings.

PocketGap Coach waitlist

If you join the PocketGap Coach waitlist, Supabase processes your email address and sends a sign-in link to verify ownership. After you confirm your spot, PocketGap stores your verified email, Supabase user identifier, currency (USD or BRL), language, source, subscription status, and timestamps in Cloudflare D1. Supabase stores a session in your browser so you can manage your signup.

This information is used to measure genuine interest, contact you about Coach development or early access, and preserve the founding-price preference. The validation release does not collect payment details. You can leave from the confirmation page while signed in, or contact the site owner to leave or request deletion.

Advertising with Adsterra

If you accept display advertising, PocketGap loads Adsterra banners on the Practice screen, guide, and exercise articles. No ad code loads before you accept. Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive your IP address, browser and device information, page URL, identifiers, and ad interactions to deliver and measure advertising. Your locally saved practice history and Coach waitlist data are not sent to Adsterra.

You can reject or withdraw advertising permission at any time through Privacy settings in the footer. Withdrawing removes the banner frames from the current page and prevents new ad requests from PocketGap.

Usage analytics

If you accept analytics, PocketGap uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and how practice features are used. Events may include starting, pausing, resuming, or completing a session; duration and cycle count; and selected tempo, time signature, subdivision, sound bars, silent bars, and accent setting.

PocketGap does not send locally saved history records, session IDs, or practice timestamps to Google Analytics. It does not load or configure the Analytics tag or send usage events unless you accept. After acceptance, standard network information such as an IP address and browser details may be exposed to Google. You can change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer.

Technical information

The hosting and security services that deliver PocketGap may automatically process standard request information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested page, date and time, and diagnostic or security data to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

PocketGap’s service worker may cache app files on your device so the metronome loads reliably or works offline. Cached files do not contain your practice history.

How information is used and shared

Information is handled only as needed to provide app features, remember choices, operate the verified Coach waitlist, deliver and measure advertising, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. PocketGap does not sell locally stored practice history or waitlist information. Information may be processed by service providers such as the hosting provider, Cloudflare, Supabase, Google Analytics, and Adsterra, or disclosed when required by law.

Your choices

Blocking storage may prevent settings, history, offline use, language preferences, or advertisements from working as expected.

• Clear individual sessions or all practice history inside PocketGap.
• Clear site data, cookies, and cached files through your browser.
• Use the system language or save an explicit PocketGap language.
• Accept, decline, or revisit analytics and advertising through Privacy settings.
• Block or limit cookies using browser or device controls.
• Contact PocketGap to leave the Coach waitlist or request deletion of waitlist information.

Children’s privacy

PocketGap is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact the site owner so it can be reviewed and addressed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PocketGap’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
